A Puzzle from the BBC

For Thanksgiving Day, two school teachers Camille and Nicole are preparing a party to celebrate. They spend one fifth of the time baking snacks. They spend one third of the time making drinks. They spend the remaining time of 70 minutes tidying their flat. How long in total did Camille and Nicole spend preparing?

Answer: Ask me in class - or even better, tell me.

If you want to see the vocab we looked at in class, it's on Consigna. Search term: Mark Elliott, password: MRME.

BTW, an acre comes from the Greek and Latin agr-,as in agriculture, and originally meant the countryside. It used to be defined as the area that a pair of oxen could plough in one day.
